Departure from our meeting point in Marrakech and the start of the road trip through the High Atlas Mountains. We will cross this mountain range via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 meters above sea level) and descend to Ait Ben Haddou. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and continue to Ouarzazate.
Following that, we will embark on a journey through the Dades Valley, also known by two other evocative names: the Valley of Roses and the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, due to the numerous rose gardens and Berber fortresses. We will stop for the night at a hotel in one of the villages in the valley.
Day’s itinerary:
Continuing our journey, we will proceed through the Dades Valley to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular natural enclave known for its narrow and steep rocky canyon. We will then continue to Erfoud, a gateway to the desert famous for its dinosaur fossils.
A little later, in Merzouga, we will mount camels to explore the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and reach our accommodation: a desert camp of Berber tents in the heart of the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in this unique setting.
Day’s itinerary:
On this third day, we will rise early to witness the magical sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Afterward, we will return to Merzouga and begin our journey back to Marrakech. It’s a long drive, but we will make the necessary stops to rest, have meals, and make the journey more enjoyable. We will arrive in Marrakech late in the day, concluding at the designated location.

Yes, a minimum of 4 participants is required for a group tour to take place. If we do not reach this number, we will notify you in a timely manner to refund your deposit. The camel ride experience lasts about an hour to reach the camp. The next day, we will take the same route back, enjoying new perspectives of the landscape.
