Private trip to Erg Chebbi desert 4 days / 3 nights

We depart from the city of Marrakech, taking the route that rises through the impressive Col Tichka, the highest point of the Atlas Mountains. As we cross the High Atlas, the life of the Berber villages is revealed before us, perfectly integrated into the landscape. We continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco”, where we will explore the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an architectural marvel recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. We will admire its iconic crenellated towers before continuing along the route of the Thousand-Kasbahs and the Valley of the Roses, ending our day in the Dades Valley. The night will be spent in a riad full of charm, a reflection of Moroccan hospitality.

We will start the day with a nutritious breakfast before heading to the desert. Our adventure takes us through the impressive Todra Gorges, a natural wonder with rock walls towering more than 200 meters above us. It will be the perfect time for a hike and to immerse ourselves in the spectacular views that this environment offers. After the exploration, we will continue our journey to Merzouga, where a change of transport awaits us: from vehicle to camels. This afternoon a beautiful drive through the desert dunes awaits us, an unforgettable two-hour experience until we reach our tented camp. From the top of the dunes, we will witness an unparalleled sunset, followed by the observation of one of the most impressive starry skies in the world. The evening will conclude with dinner and accommodation in haimas, the traditional Berber tents.

After breakfast, and before heading back to Marrakech, we will spend the morning visiting the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, an emblem of Moroccan architecture and witness to the history of the region. Once we have explored this fortification, we will continue on to the vibrant city of Marrakech. The trip will take us across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N’tichka pass, where we can admire the mountain slopes dotted with Berber villages and farms that blend harmoniously into the natural environment. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we will transfer you to your hotel or airport, putting an end to our route.
