Day 1: Marrakech Airport – Marrakech

Pickup at Marrakech Airport and transfer to the hotel, located in the city itself. After check-in, free time in Marrakech before resting in the rooms.

Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel and start the road trip. Firstly, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. After some time, we will reach the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular fortified Berber village with mud walls and houses, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will continue our journey through Ouarzazate and then enter the Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of Roses. In one of the local villages, we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our journey by road, crossing the rest of the Dades Valley. We will reach the Todra Gorges, a natural gorge with spectacular high and vertical walls.

We will then proceed to Erfoud, at the gateway to the desert, and shortly after to Merzouga. In this village, our camel trek through the dunes of Erg Chebbi will begin, and in the heart of these dunes, we will find the desert camp where we will have dinner and spend the night under the stars.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Marrakech

We will wake up very early, before the sun rises, to witness the unparalleled natural spectacle of sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After that, we will have breakfast at the desert camp and return to Merzouga. From here, we will continue our journey by road, making necessary stops for rest, meals, and enjoying the surroundings.

Crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again, we will arrive in Marrakech in the late part of the day. In the evening, we will rest at a hotel in Marrakech.

Day’s itinerary:

  • Sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi
  • Breakfast at the desert camp in Erg Chebbi
  • Return to Merzouga and resumption of the road trip
  • Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon

Day 5: Marrakech – Marrakech Airport

After having breakfast and checking out of the hotel in Marrakech, you will have free time and/or be picked up for transfer to the airport, where our services will come to an end.

The camel ride experience lasts about an hour to reach the camp. The next day, we will make the same journey back, enjoying new perspectives of the landscape.
